Trees for Cities Trees for Cities Urban Forestry Programme

Beneficiaries

  • Environment

Our urban forestry programme is currently in place in 42 urban areas across the UK, bolstering urban greening, draining and tackling the urban heat island effect.

  • The General Public / Mankind

Productivity, mental health and general happiness are improved greatly by the presence of high quality greenspace. By providing projects in areas of high multiple deprivation and low canopy cover, we aim to have the greatest impact.

  • Children / Young People

We plant and provide edible playgrounds and tree planting initiatives within schools alongside our environmental curriculum on the benefits of trees and planting

  • Community

Our work across community greenspace, namely parks, street trees and urban forestry make city areas more pleasant to be in and have drastic environmental, social and mental health benefits on local communities

  • Reach of your work

We planted 22,590 trees and hosted 15 community events 24/25

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
