    Beneficiaries will be refugee children aged 13 to 18 attending our regular homework club and supplementary school

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

We are looking to establish a long-term fund to meet the needs of newly arrived refugee children with basic school essentials and, to fit into their new school environment meeting basic obligations to school rules.

Activity goals

Support to act as a lifeline for refugees during very difficult periods in their lives in the UK

To enable refugee children to settle into school and to feel they "fit in"

To support financially stretched refugee families who have nothing more than their basic benefits

Activity Actions

  • Our grants will be available to attendees of homework club aged 13 to 18

  • Families will be identified through our school/family liaison worker

  • Quality of service will be evaluated and reviewed

  • To enable basic obligations in respect of school rules
