Gymnastics is an excellent way for children to develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Through our programme they support each other, communicate effectively, and work towards common goals, fostering positive social relationships.
Increase participation for ethnically diverse communities. 39% of residents in Pill are from a a non white background and 24.9% who are Muslim. We have a proven track record and will replicate sessions which consider the needs of this community.
Impacting 200 children on a weekly basis
Creating more opportunities for the children and adults of Pillgwenny and surrounding areas to participate in gymnastics and related activities. We currently run a small gymnastics club in Pill Millennium Centre with another Satellite in Community House on Eton Road. The sessions are currently full with 60 children participating with a waiting list. This project will see investment for new equipment which will allow more people to participate and increase delivery to more demographics.
We hope to see continuity of delivery for participants
