Girls Football Programme – Expanding Access Across Gloucestershire
Our Girls Football Programme delivers weekly football sessions for girls aged 6–14 in Cheltenham. Sessions focus on fun, skill development, teamwork and confidence. We aim to expand to more areas across Gloucestershire to reach more girls, particularly those with limited access to sport. Programme Vision: We aim to offer this programme for free to girls who need it most, providing a safe and inclusive environment where they can develop football skills, confidence and social connections.
Girls aged 6–14 in Gloucestershire, particularly those who face barriers to accessing sport, will gain confidence, skills and social connections.
The wider community benefits as girls engage in positive activities, build confidence, and develop social connections, contributing to safer, healthier, and more connected communities.
