    We work with children and young people from all communities and backgrounds and are known for our expertise in supporting young people living in diverse ethnic communities and from Black and minority ethnic backgrounds.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Creative learning, employability, volunteering and leadership opportunities for underserved young people aged 14 to 25 years old. These opportunities will support well being, engagement, employability, soft skills and creative skills development across a range of creative and vocational areas. Social impact projects will be designed and delivered by young people, supported by youth workers and creatives.

Project Outcome Targets

Young people increase skills, gaining accreditation/ opportunities (media, music, dance, wellbeing)

Young people volunteer and lead social action projects increasing confidence and employability

Young people become healthier, improving wellbeing and learning essential skills (food/hospitality)

Project Activities

  • Food growing and cooking activities (cooking on a budget, nutrition and healthy eating).

  • Media club - art, media and design activities.

  • Open access dance and Dance Leaders courses - developing leadership opportunities with young people.

  • Music - Cypher Wednesdays lyric writing, music production and performance.

  • Social action and volunteering projects led by young people for young people.
