Counselling Subsidy at Mind in Gwent
Our project will help adults aged 18+ living in poverty, who are referred by and are currently open to Newport Adult Social Services. Beneficiaries will be offered up to 12 counselling sessions for free through this service.
144 sessions in total, max. 12 each for min. 12 clients
This counselling subsidy project will provide fully funded counselling sessions for individuals who are currently open to Adult Social Services. The project will remove financial barriers and ensure timely access to professional mental health support for those with complex or co-morbid needs. The service will improve wellbeing, help manage symptoms, and complement statutory care, alleviating pressures and demand on local social services.
If funded for a year we could help min. 48 people.
