Calcutta Rescue Fund raises funds and supports the work of Calcutta Rescue – providing free healthcare, education, vocational training, and sanitation so that families and whole communities have a chance to lift themselves out of poverty.

Activity goals

To create opportunities for the most disadvantaged people to be free of the burden of disease

For Calcutta children to get the support they need to make the most of education and opportunities

For individuals, and whole communities, to transform their lives for the better

Activity Actions

  • Clinics providing essential healthcare:- Consultation, Diagnosis, Treatment and Follow-up

  • Schools provide education, extra-curricular activities, meals, healthcare and clothes

  • Calcutta Rescue works in slums to improve living standards by installing toilets and water pumps

  • Provides employment and training opportunities through Fairtrade handicraft project

  • Provides safe drinking water to 1500 families
