Headway Gloucestershire Specialist Counselling Support
PROJECT DESCRIPTION

There is a substantial need for specialist counselling for people with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and their closest carer/family member. Counselling is available from other sources but online/phone tends not to be successful for the ABI Community and understanding of ABI is crucial when working with someone with an ABI or their family/carer. The link between mental health and brain injury as the individual can, as a result of the brain injury appear like a different person.
