ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Life Recovery helps people recovering from the causes and impact of addiction – teaching life skills, creating mutual support and, for those that wish, nurturing their spirituality and faith as tools to help aid their recovery.

Activity goals

Participants sustain their recovery from addiction and build positive behaviours and networks.

Participants improve their mental health, with reduced anxiety, depression and other conditions.

Participants learn life skills, equipping them to participate in employment or volunteering.

Activity Actions

  • The 18-session Life Course teaches life skills and self care and helps build healthy relationships.

  • Life Recovery Groups are peer groups, helping participants maintain positive community networks.

  • One to one support enables participants to reflect and build helpful habits.

  • Life Recovery training helps other charities support those living in recovery.
