Voyage Work experience programme

Beneficiaries

  • Children / Young People

16 to 18 year olds from low socio-economic backgrounds

  • Number of beneficiaries - 30

Usually 30 young people per year.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Voyage matches disadvantaged young people to paid work experience opportunities in a range of sectors to help them develop their skills, network and aspirations. These young people don't have the connections or know-how to find these places themselves while they hugely benefit from the experience. They are prepared for the placements through CV, interview and get-ready-for-work training. Placements are best suited for the summer months.
