City of Newport Half Marathon
Runners are all aged over 16 years.
We hope to encourage more new participants this year
A half marathon event will be held in Newport in March 2026 attracting 2,000+ runners and a similar number of spectators into the city. As well as being a valuable fundraising event for the hospice, it also brings visitors to Newport and encourages positive health and well-being choices for all the runners partaking in a training plan to achieve the run on the day.
2,000 runners are expected to take part
