UK Schools Programme
Planting trees within primary schools across Oxford and London. This involves giving schoolchildren the real feel of planting trees for themselves and being proud of their achievements. Using school playgrounds, we will plant 100s of trees with pupils that they can watch grow. Too many kids now are estranged from nature. This programme aims to break the ice for these children and create personal involvement and engagement with nature that kids can take forward with them into their adult lives.
This programme is designed for primary school pupils, who will be able to witness their trees growing over their time at school.
1 year group (~60 children) x 5 schools = 300 children
