PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Our school is in the heart of the slums and provides education to over 280 children that without our school would not be able to access education. The school is in a small rented building that is not fit for purpose so we are on a mission to raise £270,000 so that we can build a sustainable school that will be almost self funded through multiple initiatives within the community.

    280 primary school children initially part of the current school and with the new site we will be able to expand classes to ensure ALL children within the local slums are able to attend this school.

Project Outcome Targets

Build a School on purchase land that will be owned by the school. Removing the current monthly rent

Install a Veggie Garden that will produce food for 280 children daily Removing current shopping bill

Purchase 10 motorcycles to rent to the community. Profit used to fund staff salaries

Project Activities

  • The current school is at capacity and we will work to find a new suitable site to purchase

  • We will begin asking for pledges and donations in 2021 to reach the target and work will start 2022
