Action Change (Formally GVI Trust) Fund Education for 100 children in Africa
PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Our township school started 4 years ago builds a new classroom and add's a new grade every year. This school currently has 100 children that live in a local township in South Africa and with government school over subscribed this is the only access some of these children can get to education. We need support to fund school meals, build a sports field, fund our stationery and resources for the school each year while we build sustainable methods long term.

Project Outcome Targets

Fund a new Sports Field in the School in 2021 - £8,000

Fund all stationery and learning materials / text books - £6,000

Install an Aquaponics system and orchard for the school meals - £4,000

Project Activities

  • Build a Sports Field for the school to start offering Sports and PE Lessons in 2021

  • Build a classroom for 2022 intake

  • Add an Aquaponics system and Orchard to produce produce for free school meals

  • Fund our community after school Women Education Program, teaching mothers to sew

  • Open a community health clinic at the school to make the school the community hub in 2021/22
