Improving Communications
The Churn Community Hub has 20 employees who support a wide range of people in Cirencester and the surrounding villages. Good communication is key to our service to enable is to fulfil our vision and mission.
We know family life can be stressful and parenting can feel overwhelming. We provide support for local families from pregnancy to school age through groups, one-to-one help, parenting programmes, and the Freedom Programme.
The Churn’s Ageing Well Service reduces loneliness and isolation among older people through friendship groups, social activities, trips and events. We also support people living with dementia, carers, and those affected by bereavement.
We can provide personalised employment and skills support including CV writing, job searching and applications, training opportunities and finding voluntary work. We also offer a variety of short courses throughout the year.
Our Mens and Community Shed participants can access a wide variety of practical activities lead by knowledgeable and supportive staff and volunteers. You can also build your confidence, self esteem and make some great friendships on the way.
Our team can offer support around mental wellbeing, finances, confidence, self-esteem and advocacy. We run support groups for both men and women.
Support will be ongoing for the life of the technology.
