Project Outcome Targets
Increases awareness of mental health issues in organisations by training care workers.
Have at least one trained Mental Health First Aider in each Social Care setting.
Recognise the inherent stress in care work and ensure that care workers are adequately supported.
Project Activities

The first aid certificate is valid for three years, strengthening the care workforce in the UK.

To facilitate comprehensive mental health training, and professional development for care workers.

Enabling trained care workers to then share their knowledge and support their peers.

For care workers to recognise, address, and support mental health challenges in the workplace.

Donated £3000 to fund the training of 16 care workers to complete Mental Health First Aider training
