Mental Health First Aider Training for care worker
Care workers, despite their vital role in society, often face undervaluation, financial instability, and demanding work schedules. Recognising the inherent stress in care work, we've partnered with Red Umbrella to provide Mental Health First Aider Training for care workers. This initiative equips individuals with a nationally recognised qualification and it provides wider support within teams by enabling trained individuals to share their knowledge and support their peers.
The cost for the Care Workers’ Charity, is £3008 per 16 delegates. Delegates receive aftercare support, resource toolbox, and and contacts from the Red Umbrella Initiative, facilitating their ongoing work. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
We would like to be able to offer a rolling programme.
We can facilitate the training of 16 care workers per month.
Post questionnaire sent to each trainee upon completion of the course for feedback and case studies.
