Possible Inspiring Climate Action
PROJECT DESCRIPTION

At Possible, we create, build, and share ways people can take meaningful action on climate change. Combining individual and local actions with larger systemic change, everything we do is about inspiring more people to take more action. Whether we’re running tree-planting days, installing heat pumps under parks or lobbying MPs on onshore wind, it is always about more than just a solar panel here, or an LED there - it’s about people working together to change the world.

    We engage the public in climate action to create a low-carbon society which benefits everyone. Our work directly tackles the climate crisis which threatens many aspects of society including jobs, food production, houses etc.

  • Environment

    A key aspect of our work is nature-based solutions, such as tree planting. These help tackle the climate crisis (which threatens the natural world) and supports UK biodiversity and green spaces.

Project Outcome Targets

A low carbon society built by and belonging to everybody in the UK.

More people support action on climate change and are actively participating in climate solutions

Project Activities

  • We tell inspiring stories about climate action to present it as something people want to be part of.

  • We innovate new ways to tackle climate, and trial new ways for people to participate in them.

  • We help familiarise people with the climate crisis and how to tackle it.

  • We help people, communities, and organisations work together to create real, tangible change.

  • We engage political and regulatory processes to make it easier for people to act on climate change.
