We work with less advantaged young people facing barriers including (but not limited to) those from low-income families, on free school meals, or on pupil premium. We also survey all students to make sure we're supporting those who need it most.
300 pupils on the career game and 200 with mentoring
Lancashire is one of the most deprived areas in England, and young people risk missing out education and career prospects. Our comprehensive programme provides high-quality career guidance, empowering young people to make more confident and informed decisions about their future. The programme surveys pupils, to find the ones who need our intervention most, includes a career game, to engage younger students around careers, and 1:1 online mentoring for 100 pupils per year focused on next steps.
