Activity goals

We support the growth of behavioural skills, like self-efficacy, to build confidence.

We provide the relevant information they need and want to make important decisions about futures.

Mentors increase mentees’ social capital by providing a space to explore interests and options.

Activity Actions

  • We survey young people to find those with low social capital who would benefit most from mentoring.

  • We recruit & train mentors with a quality framework to ensure they’re giving mentees what they need.

  • We actively monitor engagement and conversations so rapport is built supportively and effectively.

  • We evaluate projects to identify areas of improvement for delivery and outcome change.

  • We systematically integrate mentee, mentor, and partner feedback for continual improvement.
