ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Young people in Newport are being left behind but we can do something about it. Our online mentoring, in English and Welsh, helps young people make confident and informed decisions about their future. We match them with an inspiring mentor who gives information and advice through our safeguarded app, so students in Newport can easily get the guidance they need. With 20 years’ experience, we know what works. Together we can level the playing field so they can choose the path that’s right for them

Activity Actions

  • We’ll connect with schools and local and national charities so we can work with the right students.

  • We’ll train all mentors to ensure they can provide the right support.

  • Using our matching quiz, young people choose to be matched with a mentor on our bespoke platform.

  • For one academic term, young people and their mentors will have impactful conversations.

  • We’ll provide consistent, structured support to keep young people engaged with the project
