ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Bridges to Prosperity builds bridges to better lives in rural communities, helping solve a root cause of poverty for 1 billion people globally. Price & Myers sponsors the construction of one these bridges in 2022 by both, paying a sponsorship to cover part of the costs of construction, and by sending a group of volunteers to build the superstructure of the bridge together with Bridges to Prosperity's construction team and the local community members.

Activity Actions

Ground-Breaking in July 2022, hiring and average of 20 to 30 local community workers every day
Excavations and Substructure works carried out between August and September 2022
Preparation and training for the team of volunteers between AUG and SEP 2022 before travelling
Team of volunteers traveling to Rwanda to spend 2 weeks living nearby the project in rural Rwanda.
2 weeks of construction of the superstructure of the bridge (substructure already built by B2P).
