Volunteering with Newport Live
The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre has a remit to bring culture and arts to the residents of Newport. The volunteers will have the opportunity to share this culture with the people of Newport
The individuals recruited to the volunteer roles will benefit by increasing in confidence, developing new skills, forming new friendships, improved mental wellbeing. The opportunities will give them a sense of purpose
Children, adults, people with disabilities, will all benefit from the volunteers who support the coaching and delivery of sporting and physical activities within the Newport Live Leisure facilities.
Vols will support city wide events & sporting sessions.
City wide events could attract outside people to the city.
Create a community of volunteers to support the varied City wide events and programmes of Newport Live. These would include the large cultural and artistic events and the sporting events that take place within Newport each year. A second volunteering opportunity would see Volunteers being deployed to support Sporting and physical activity programmes within the Leisure facilities.
Vols will support city wide events & community sessions.
