Newport Live Duffryn Youth Intervention & Support Project
PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Newport Live is a highly regarded, locally trusted VCSE, with a strong track record of successfully engaging children, young people, and families living in poverty; using sport / activities as the hook. We have proven experience of demonstrating impact, managing grant funding, and collaborative working (recognising existing Council teams, their support and value, and that of local groups and 3rd sector org's). We will provide additional staff and resource into Duffryn, using local, relatable workers with lived experience, to provide youth engagement activity, mentoring, wellbeing support, & informal education - leading to training, volunteering, & qual's with pathways to employment.
