Newport Live Duffryn Community Tennis Project
PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Duffryn Community Tennis Project will bring free, inclusive tennis opportunities directly into local schools and community spaces, removing transport and cost barriers. Using a mobile “tennis on the move” approach, we will engage young people before connecting them to free weekend family sessions at Tredegar Park. The project will also create volunteering and employment pathways by training local activators to lead sessions, building skills and confidence. Working with other services Newport Live teams, the project will improve health and wellbeing, strengthen community connections and create lasting opportunities for participation and progression through Tennis.
