Beneficiaries

  • Children / Young People

Our programmes target 8-9-year-olds from the UK's most deprived communities. We also engage 12 to 18-year-olds as Young Leaders to support younger children, developing their own skills, and giving back to the community simultaneously

  • Number of beneficiaries - 275

250 children and 25 young leaders per programme.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

4.1 million children in the UK are living in poverty. 40% of these children are overweight, they are three times more likely to suffer from their mental health, and 81% don't participate in any sports clubs at all. Our sports programmes empower these children to have fun and believe they can achieve anything. They get the opportunity to try a range of brand-new sports, and introduce their favorite as part of their routine for at least 20 weeks, aiming to make life-long changes.
