    Year 10 pupils (aged 14-15) from low-income households take part in our programme. Working closely with a partner school, we will identify pupils who will benefit most, including those eligible for Pupil Premium and looked after children.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We partner with schools and businesses to enable 15 under-resourced young people to take part in our programme of personalised career coaching. Pupils will explore their strengths and interests, and discover inspiring careers and pathways. Together we will equip them with the knowledge, skills, confidence and connections they need to achieve their full potential.

Project Outcome Targets

Pupils develop the knowledge, skills, confidence and connections to broaden their career horizons.

Pupils explore and better understand their strengths, interests and career aspirations.

Pupils can make confident, informed decisions about their post-16 education and training.

Project Activities

  • Pupils take part in six hours of career coaching across four weeks.

  • Sessions are supported by an experienced Programme Manager and guided by a structured handbook.

  • Pupils have a conversation with a role model working in their chosen sector.

  • Interactive in school workshop and personalised guidance, including a live GCSE results helpline.

  • Coaching sessions are hosted in the workplace, introducing pupils to a professional work environment
