Win on Waste - Recycling Sessions
Win on Waste acts for the protection and preservation of the environment by empowering local people to learn about the origins of their household waste and how to reduce their impact. We advance the education of the public about all aspects of waste generation and recycling by highlighting waste reduction and recycling initiatives and where household waste cannot be avoided redirecting common waste items towards charities and organisations that can use them for their own projects or fundraising.
We aim to remove hard-to-recycle items from landfill and the waste system, relieving the burden of plastic waste on the local environment. We encourage litter picking, separating recyclable items and educate on reuse and recycling.
We collect items that can be used by local charities for their projects or fundraising, and advise through our We Need That directory of organisations that could benefit from items which are otherwise bound for the bin.

Most donors repeat visits, but we hope to work more widely.
