ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Providing healthy meals and positive activities for disadvantaged children and young people during the school holiday periods. Project is focused on supportive vulnerable and disadvnatged children in Newport whom otherwise would be negatively affected by holiday hunger and at risk of involvement with risky behaviours during the holiday periods.

  • Positive activities to keep children occupied, active and engaged - sports and multi-activities

  • Sport and physical activity to develop skills, confidence and build resilience and life skills

  • Access to healthy food and meals during holiday periods

  • Workshops on healthy lifestyles, mental health awareness, drug and alcohol misuse

  • Trips for children to provide new experiences and raise aspiration levels
