ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

We run cookery sessions every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and this then provides the food for our community café. This is then open to the public where we serve hot, homecooked food and cakes all at just £3 per person. All children eat free. The aim is to bring the community together and provide hot food at an affordable price for all.

Activity goals

To encourage and empower people to work together as a team and cook healthy meals.

To encourage the local community to come to the café and eat healthily.

To encourage people to then cook at home and continue to eat healthily.

  • We run daily cookery sessions.

  • We provide online cooking videos and recipes.

  • We deliver and create recipe boxes for those living in supported living.

  • We work closely with other partner organisations looking at tackling food inequality.
