As part of the Outline project, we will provide free access to live music as well as to music workshops, support from industry experts and practical advice and insight for a career in the live music industry.
Over 9 months, the project will deliver 24 free live gigs across the city centre’s core grassroots venues – curated by the Outline team, operating from The Corn Exchange. The aim? To further support bringing people back into the heart of Newport.
This project is also about building the future of music in Newport. Alongside the live events, a year-long programme of workshops and expert-led panels will offer aspiring musicians – of all ages and backgrounds – real insight and practical skills.
All workshop sessions are designed to strengthen Newport’s music infrastructure from the ground up, offering invaluable opportunities for collaboration, learning and professional growth for people of all ages and abiltiiies across the city.
