The project will reach to adults and their families living on the food poverty line, using the schools to target vulnerable families so the correct people can be reached
The families and children of the adults we are teaching will be directly positively impacted via the food cooked initially and then the far reaching effects of the educational parts of the course.
The community will be positively impacted by members of the local school community encouraging others to be involved, we will be actively encouraging schools to invite community leaders in to observe the sessions.
We will directly be teaching around 60-80 people
Working with local Schools we will be bringing our budget healthy cooking programme into the community. Every session we will cook healthy nutritious family friendly meals to take home alongside knowledge booklets, store cupboard ingredients and lots of confidence to recreate in their own kitchen.
60 adults actively cooking and imparting their knowledge .
