Defying Gravity Academy Digital Upskilling Young Performers
PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We’d like to provide digital upskilling sessions for our students to design their future. Through guided sessions with specialised equipment we’ll enable Defying Gravity Students time to create their own performance campaigns, learning to market themselves and provide sessions around creating a safe online presence.

    Social media and graphic design training help young people express creativity, build digital skills, and promote their work effectively. They learn visual communication, branding, and online professionalism—valuable for future careers.

Project Activities

  • Online safety and social media training delivered to students

  • Students to plan and deliver mini-marketing campaigns

  • Graphic design sessions aimed at digital literacy

  • Collaborate on teams to support and develop each other

  • Present a final product back to each other via fun pitch at the Newport pantomime hall
