Evolve Project HE:RO

Beneficiaries

  • Children / Young People

All children with partner schools benefit, not just the 10% who receive direct mentoring support. There are also wider benefits on teacher wellbeing and retention, along with the downstream benefits for health and welfare services, and employers.

  • Number of beneficiaries - 1200

40 schools, 30 children per school + indirect beneficiaries

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Working with the most vulnerable children and young people in our society, Project HE:RO transforms life trajectories, helps with social mobility, improves school performance and reduces taxpayer burden from exclusions, criminality, NHS and welfare. Project HE:RO is multi-award winning and every school needs it. However, school funding cuts mean that many children are missing out and this affects them in the short and long term. Social value business partnerships can help to change this.
