    Unemployed adults will receive hands-on catering training, food hygiene certification, and mentoring, helping them build confidence and skills that support pathways into volunteering, training, or employment in the food and hospitality sector

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Cook, Learn, Earn – Duffryn is a 12-week community training programme for Duffryn residents. Participants will attend weekly hands-on cooking and food enterprise workshops, gain Level 2 Food Hygiene certification, and learn budgeting, catering, and employability skills. Delivered through small group sessions and mentoring, the project aims to improve confidence, reduce food poverty, and create pathways into volunteering, catering work, or small food businesses.
