Centre of Excellence Grahame Park Football Club

Beneficiaries

  • Children / Young People

Before the project began, no such football club existed in the area. The priority for the club right now is to avoid a reduction in service. Tuesday 5:30 - 6:30pm Girls Football and Basketball Club and Friday 5-8pm Boys Football Club.

  • Number of beneficiaries - 80

We average approx. 50-70 boys and 10-15 girls each week.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Grahame Park Football Club has become a thriving hub for the local community. It averages 60 attendees each week and has provided a much-needed place for local children and young people, overwhelmingly from families with low income, to access sport in a safe environment. Sessions are run by fantastic male and female local role models who gained their coaching qualifications through the project and are now employed to coach the sessions.
