Alway FC was founded to provide a safe space for young people in a deprived community, offering an escape from crime through sport. We believe sport builds character, reduces crime, and supports mental health, giving youth the chance to thrive
Alway FC’s work will be significant with locals and beyond
Alway FC was founded in memory of Ryan O’Connor, a beloved son, father, and friend, whose life was tragically cut short at 26. His legacy lives on through this club, which unites our community with the power of football. Our vision is to create a safer, stronger and more united Alway, where every young person, regardless of background, can thrive. Inspired by Ryan’s spirit, we aim to transform lives, break the cycle of violence, and empower youth through sport, mentorship, and unwavering support
