PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Youth Play & Connect Hub is a year-long youth engagement programme designed to provide safe,structured and fun spaces for young people to connect through traditional games and creative play.Running from March 2027 – March 2028,the project will deliver weekly and holiday sessions.The project aims to reduce anti-social behaviour, isolation and boredom among young people by offering positive alternatives that encourage teamwork,leadership,problem-solving and peer connection.

Project Activities

  • Weekly Game Hub Sessions Regular sessions where young people can play games;Cooperative board games

  • Youth Leadership Programme Young people will be supported to:co-host sessions,mentor younger ones

  • Monthly Community Tournaments;Scrabble Showdown Puzzle Masters Challenge

  • Holiday Activity Sessions Additional sessions during school holidays to provide safe spaces

  • At the end of the programme, H.E.A.L will host a Community Game Festival celebrating young people
