PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Childhood vaccination uptake across parts of Northern England remains below national targets, due to factors such as * Misinformation and lack of trust, * Cultural barriers and in socioeconomically disadvantaged communities. This proposal outlines a scalable, community-driven intervention designed to:Increase awareness and understanding of NHS childhood vaccinations, address vaccine hesitancy through trusted engagement, Improve accessibility and convenience for families Led by H.E.A.L (Henrie Empowerment for Awareness and Life) CIC this programme combines community outreach, targeted communications, and partnership working to deliver measurable improvements in uptake over a five-year period.

Beneficiaries

    Children in nursery/primary school will benefit from higher vaccination rates, reducing preventable illness and health inequalities. Scalable outreach and trusted community engagement ensure more children are protected

  • Adults

    Parents, carers,adults will be made aware of the importance of NHS vaccinations thus improving parental awareness and confidence in NHS vaccination programmes, 3. Strengthen partnerships between healthcare providers, schools, and community
