Improving Access to Life-Saving Prostate Cancer Screening Across Sheffield and Leeds
We are delivering a mobile clinical service offering PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) blood tests across communities in Sheffield and Leeds. This initiative aims to increase early detection of prostate cancer by bringing screening directly into local neighbourhoods. To ensure equitable access, we are seeking £5,000 to fund transport support for men who are unable to attend the mobile clinic independently. This will be delivered through a partnership with a local transport provider or volunteer driver organisation. Increase uptake of PSA screening in underserved communities Reduce inequalities in access to early cancer detection Enable earlier diagnosis and improved survival outcomes
