H.E.A.L. - Henrie's Empowerment for Awareness and Life Health Careers Connect: Building Pathways into Healthcare Employment
PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project is a community-based employability and skills development programme designed to support people facing acing barriers to employment to access sustainable careers within the healthcare sector across Bristol and the West of England. Delivered by H.E.A.L., the project provides personalised mentoring, employability workshops, healthcare careers awareness, accredited training, CV and interview support, and employer engagement. Participants will build confidence, gain workplace skills, and access volunteering, apprenticeships, further training, or employment opportunities, creating sustainable pathways into a diverse and inclusive healthcare workforce.

  • Healthcare Careers Academy-Introduction to NHS&healthcare careers, all health&safety related trainings and pathways

  • CV development,Interview preparation&mock,Application support,employer engagement&apprenticeship awareness sessions

  • Workplace visits,employer talks,volunteering placements,work-shadowing opportunities,6months post-programme follow-up.
