PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Henris's Empowerment for Awareness and Life (H.E.A.L) Initiative aims to educate and raise awareness on sexual reproductive health and rights among vulnerable individuals, young people, women, and men in Newport, Wales. Through workshops, outreach, and culturally sensitive materials, the project will empower communities with knowledge to make informed choices, reduce stigma and promote healthier lives

Project Outcome Targets

Educate 500+ young people in Newport on sexual reproductive health, boosting safe practices

Empower 300+ women/men with SRHR knowledge via workshops, enhancing informed health choices

Reduce SRHR stigma in Newport through community campaigns, reaching 1,000+ vulnerable individuals.

Project Activities

  • Create and distribute digital and print SRHR resources in multiple languages.

  • Deliver SRHR workshops to empower youth, women, and men across Newport communities.

  • Host inclusive SRHR awareness events in collaboration with local partners.

  • Integrate SRHR education into local schools and youth programs through partnerships.

  • Train community peer educators to provide culturally sensitive SRHR guidance.
