PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The BID will deliver a series of Christmas markets throughout December. This will be in the form of festive cabins in John Frost Square, with traders changing on a regular basis to allow variety and choice. Traders will vary from crafts and gifts to hot food and drink. We anticipate 16 festive cabins on the site.

Project Activities

  • PR to be launched in first week of November to announce the date.

  • Further PR until week of project to announce opening hours/ traders etc.

  • Comms to be via media, and the BID's website, social media, newsletter and e-bulletins.

  • The BID's Street Ambassadors to hand out promotional leaflets to the general public.

  • Businesses in Newport city centre to display posters.
