Beechwood Park Bowls Club Beechwood Bowling Community Hub

Beneficiaries

    We will focus on elderly people who may be suffering from isolation, loneliness or poverty. We will provide advice and support sessions as well as fun activities to engage and entertain elderly visitors

  • Other Charities or Voluntary Bodies

    We will offer the use of our community hub to other local volunteer groups such as the Beechwood Park Community Group for meetings and small events throughout the winter

  • Student or learners

    We will offer the community hub as a educational space for creative arts in the park including the Beechwood Urban Creative Academy

  • Community

    We will offer the clubhouse as a meeting place for food provision and a warm space during testing times this winter

  • Children / Young People

    We will offer the community hub as a meeting place for local schools hoping to visit Beechwood Park for nature trails and forest school

    We hope a variety of groups and individuals will use hub

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We are hoping to offer the local community our clubhouse as a community hub this winter to help run family activities, advice and social sessions for the elderly, a meeting space for community groups. The community hub can be used as a warm hub, foodbank provision and indoor safe space for local groups and individuals in need.
