                    Community Safe Videos

This project will employ local freelance artists to develop the films, providing valuable paid work and creative opportunities.
Aimed at children and young people, this project will expose them to high-quality art in the form of the videos created, while raising awareness of important issues within their city.
This project will benefit the Newport community by raising awareness of local issues and educating the next generation about the choices they make and the consequences they carry.
Shared citywide through schools and services for impact.
A collaboration between Connor Allen, RedBrk, and Newport City Council, this project builds on their previous knife crime poetry video—already shared with local schools—to raise awareness and spark dialogue. The next phase will create a series of powerful, targeted films addressing key issues affecting Newport’s communities, including gang culture and drug use.
