Brohen Future Ready Duffryn
PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Future Ready Duffryn is an 8-week skills program helping young people (16–25) and unemployed adults in Duffryn gain practical digital, green, and employment skills. Participants will learn computer literacy, online job search, recycling, upcycling, and energy efficiency while receiving CV and job-readiness support. The project will train 60 residents, helping them improve employability, confidence, while reducing poverty and exclusion.

Beneficiaries

  • Children / Young People

    Young people aged 16–25 in Duffryn who face barriers to employment will benefit through digital, green and job-readiness training, helping them gain practical skills, confidence and pathways into work, training or entrepreneurship.

  • Unemployed

    Unemployed adults in Duffryn will gain practical digital skills, sustainability knowledge and employment support, helping them improve job prospects, access training opportunities and build confidence to return to work.

  • People in poverty

    Residents experiencing poverty or financial hardship will benefit through free skills training, mentoring and employment support, helping them improve income opportunities, reduce exclusion and build long-term economic stability.

  • Number of beneficiaries - 60

    The project will directly train 60 Duffryn resident.
