    Members can sample, enjoy & learn about foraging & wild food, which will help to reduce food costs & inspre them to look more to nature.They will enjoy local music, crafts & make lasting social connections improve to mental health & reduce isolation

    Those of diverse backgrounds can learn about the culture of foraging in wales, as well as bring their own knowledge of wild food within their own cultures & share this with the community, create unlikely connections & expand horizons

  • People with Disabilities

    Both day events will be held in accessible locations & will encourage participation from diabled people. They will be able to enjoy live music, free wild food, sample local crafts, create social connections and enjoy being part of the community

  • Elderly / Old People

    Older people can engage with people of all backgrounds and ages, make lasting memories & connections, and enjoy a fun day out with live music, free wild food and lots of knowledge.

  • Other Charities or Voluntary Bodies

    The music at both events will be provided by Celtic Cafe, a local charitable organisation. They will benefit from an increated audienceexposure, as well as being part of the foraging community, enjoying free wild food & connecting with new people

  • Nature

    The events will discuss issues facing nature & our local environment, and offer ideas & solutions to tackle these issues & improve our local areas.

  • Reach of your work

    both events will reach upto 4k people combined

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

This event will be a one day picnic/festival in sumer 2024, & a second event in summer 2025. It will include local live music, a wide variety of freshly prepared wild food, a guided nature walk, various craft stalls from local artists, and talks on foraging, herbal medicine and more. This event will be a social gathering for members, a chance to make new friends, share knowledge & sample some delicious foraged food. Inclusive to all types of people

  • preparing a range of foods incorporating wild ingredients to meet many dietary needs. including all

  • organise talks & discussions to educate members & share the rich heritage of foraging in wales

  • invite members to promote & share their creative arts - benefiting the local economy & culture

  • encorage sustainable practices & knowledge of our impact on the environment - to do better

  • campaign against habitat destruction & practices that damage wildlife discuss such issues as a group
