Community Playground & Green Space Renewal
A tenant-led initiative to revitalise an underutilised outdoor space within our Garw Valley estate into a safe, vibrant play area for local children. Given the geography of the valley, accessible outdoor recreational spaces are vital for family well-being and community cohesion. We are seeking partnerships with local contractors, materials suppliers, and volunteers to install updated play equipment, secure fencing, and family benches, turning this site into a welcoming hub for the neighborhood.
Local children aged 2–12 living within the V2C Garw Valley social housing estate who currently lack a dedicated, safe outdoor play area near their homes.
Parents, carers, and wider estate families who will gain a welcoming, inclusive outdoor green space that fosters social cohesion and neighbourhood interaction.
Local children utilising the equipment year-round.
Parents and local families accessing the communal space.
