PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We are one of Wales's largest grassroots football clubs - providing opportunities for hundreds of boys and girls to improve their wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem by participating in football sessions throughout the year. We are looking to develop new training facilities to help our club meet the demand and expand our provision.

Project Outcome Targets

To increase the number of girls participating in football for the first time

To increase the number of 16+ females regularly participating in football sessions

Increase the confidence and wellbeing of young people through regular participation in team sport

Project Activities

  • To run marketing campaigns to promote our offer, engaging with local schools and the wider community

  • To run new taster sessions for young people that are free of charge

  • To develop new training spaces in the community to help meet demand for pitch/training space

  • To promote the benefits of volunteering at the club to increase the number of coaches
