ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Researchers examining reasons for non-participation in sport women and girls from Black, Asian and Ethnic minority communities commonly identify a set of contributory factors. ·low incomes limiting what can be spent on sport; ·limited time because of long hours working in low paid jobs (and religious observance for some); ·limited facilities in the areas where they live; ·limited mobility because low levels of car ownership make it difficult to reach opportunities further away.
