Aims to provide people with afro textured hair & people from mixed heritage an opportunity to engage with afro hair stylists and training opportunities and gain hair care and protective styles tips to help bridge the knowledge gap & build confidence.
The project benefit over 20k minority ethnic groups in Npt
First ever afro hair show in Wales which will help with the difficulty some groups face when accessing hairdressing training tailored to Black hair amid a shortage of salons across Wales. Some of our service users highlighted that people don’t realise how needed salons for black hairstyles are. We want to help develop knowledge and understanding of relevant hair types and understanding around the differences in caring for afro-textured hair while considering the use of appropriate Hair vocab.
